Emco bags four power projects worth Rs 274 cr

Transformer manufacturer Emco today said it has bagged four orders totalling Rs 274 crore for construction of electrical sub-stations in three states including Maharashtra and Haryana.     

The company has bagged orders worth Rs 131 crore from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam to erect sub-stations at Rangla Rajpur, Samain, Rampur Kambaon, Batta and Dadhibana, Emco said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

Further, the company has bagged order worth Rs 100 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company to construct one sub-station at Lonikand in Pune district, the filing said.     

Besides, it has also secured an order worth Rs 43 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for construction of a sub-station at Kotputli in Jaipur district of Rajasthan, the filing added.     

 

Shares of Emco were trading at Rs 92 on BSE, up 0.22 per cent from the previous close.
