Era Cons net up 522% to Rs 8.21 cr

Era Constructions (India) posted 522 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 8.21 crore in the quarter ended December 2005 over the corresponding previous period's Rs 1.32 crore.

Net sales during the period went up by 118.75 per cent to Rs 84.31 crore from Rs 38.54 crore recorded in the year-ago period. Earnings per share stood at Rs 7.54 as compared with Rs 2.03.

Gross profit rose 321 per cent to Rs 11.58 crore from Rs 2.75 crore. Profit before tax stood at Rs 10.60 crore, a 386 per cent rise over the corresponding previous period's Rs 2.18 crore. Expenditure grew 106 per cent to Rs 70.40 crore from Rs 34.06 crore.
