Escorts Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 5.72 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 compared with a net loss of Rs 27.7crore during the same priod last fiscal.

The company's net income in Q3 increased by 75 per cent to Rs 356.96 crore from Rs 203 crore in Q3 last fiscal.
