Flytext plans India expansion

Flytxt, a global mobile marketing and advertising solutions provider, is planning a major expansion in India. While the company’s corporate office is in Netherlands, its operational headquarters is located at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. This centre houses the product development and is responsible for global delivery. The centre will expand over 100 per cent over the next 9 - 12 months. The company is looking for increasing its headcount in sales, product consulting and technical support located in Delhi, Mumbai and Johannesburg. Total headcount will grow from 100 to 200-plus in this same period.

David Harper, chairman of Flytxt, said, “The market demand for mobile marketing and advertising is accelerating significantly and we are going to scale rapidly to meet this demand with a specific focus on India and Africa where the growth is most dramatic.”
