Greenply Q2 net profit soars three-fold to Rs 31.85 crore
Net income during the second quarter of the fiscal increased by 25.19% to Rs 517.80 crore
Plywood maker Greenply Industries today reported over three-fold jump in standalone net profit at Rs 31.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 10.10 crore in the corresponding period last year, Greenply Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
The net income during the second quarter of the fiscal increased by 25.19% to Rs 517.80 crore, from Rs 413.60 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The shares of the company were trading 6.70% up at 289.05 apiece during afternoon trade.
