H&R Johnson plans cement tile plant in Gujarat

H&R Johnson (India) Ltd, a leading tile manufacturing company, is in the process of setting up two cement tile manufacturing units in Ahmedabad and in Pune for a cumulative investment of Rs 10 crore.

These two units form the company's strategic focus to invest and grow in the cement tile business. The company already has five cement tile manufacturing units in the south.

The two new units, in Ahmedabad and Pune, are expected to help expand the company's cement tile business in the western region.

The company forayed into cement tile business in 2006 by setting up five manufacturing units in South India.
