ICICI Info to consolidate Chennai centre

ICICI Infotech Limited is gearing up to consolidate and grow its development centre at Chennai, which is dedicated to the development work of its flagship ERP product "� Orion.

The company is moving its workforce into a new 20,000 sq ft development centre which will be equipped to accommodate 600 people.

Launching its micro-verticalised ERP solution for the small and medium enterprises here on Wednesday, ICICI Infotech's executive director Manoj Kukalienkar said: "We see our strength at Chennai doubling in the next year or two."

The company at present has two development centres with a combined space of 20,000 sq ft accommodating over 300 people.

Orion Advantage, the product launched for the SMEs, comes with an HP dual processor Xeon server, Oracle 9i database, Windows 2003 server and Windowss Cal.

The product is base priced at Rs 9. 9 lakh. The market potential in this segment is projected at 6.3 lakh enterprises in three years' time. ICICI Infotech Limited is targetting to capture about 10-15 per cent of this market.
