Tata Motors-owned Land Rover today announced that the first new member of the Discovery family, the new Discovery Sport, will be launched in India on September 2.
Dealers are now formally accepting bookings for the sports utility vehicle. This will be the fifth Land Rover model to be available in India. Prices of the new vehicle will be disclosed at the time of the launch.

The Land Rover range in India includes the flagship Range Rover (starting at Rs 1.83 crore CBU form), Range Rover Sport (starting at Rs 1.16 crore in CBU form) and Discovery 4 (starting at Rs 1.11 crore in CBU form) and locally manufactured Range Rover Evoque (starting at Rs 48.73 Lacs). All prices mentioned are ex–Mumbai (pre octroi).
