Kajaria, Avon Corp's & Coromandel Q1 result

Kajaria Q1 net rises 160%
Kajaria Ceramics, the country’s largest ceramic tiles manufacturer, posted 160 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 6.04 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to 2.32 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Avon Corp’s net rises 272%
Avon Corporation, producer and supplier of healthcare products, has posted 272 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 7 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009 as against Rs 1.88 crore in the previous year. Net sales from operations zoomed during the year to Rs 79.59 crore from Rs 49.47 crore.

 

Coromandel net dips 73%
Coromandel Fertilisers Limited reported a net profit of Rs 51.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, a decrease of 73.6 per cent over Rs 193.83 crore posted during the same period last year. The company’s turnover increased by 22 per cent to Rs 1527.67 crore from Rs 1250.64 crore during the June quarter a year earlier.
