Lanxess ABS to change its name

In a communication to the stock exchanges, Lanxesss ABS said a general meeting of the Company will be held on 2nd June, 2008 at its registered Office in Vadodara, to consider the name change.

Ineos ABS (Jersey) Ltd UK now has 83.33 per cent shareholding in Lanxess ABS. This was following acquisition of 50.97 per cent through an open offer and share purchase agreement entered into with the previous promoters, Lanxess India Pvt. Ltd and Rakesh Agrawal group.

 

Ineos also had bought 18.83 per cent shares from RA group and  other romoters and another 13.53 per cent of total share capital from general public.
