Mahindra Lifespace Q3 net surges 147% to Rs 27 cr

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL) reported a 147 per cent jump in the proft after tax at Rs 27.93 crore p as compared to Rs 11.31 crore for corresponding period of last year.

The real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group reported an operating income of Rs 108.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, thus, registering a 96% increase as compared to corresponding period of last year (Rs 55.65 crore).

The company achieved sales of Rs 235 crore for the quarter.

Shares of MLDL were trading at Rs 379.50 on the BSE, up 5.95 per cent at 2:15 pm.
