Keeping affordability and a smartphone experience in mind, Microsoft Devices today launched Lumia-630, which is well equipped with a Windows phone 8.1 as an operating system, a quad-core processor and a clearblack 4.5" LCD screen.

Priced at Rs 11,500, this dual SIM smartphone will be available in stores across India from Wednesday, Microsoft said in a release.

"We believe the Lumia 630 Dual SIM is undoubtedly the best smartphone in its price range as it builds on the success of Lumia 520 and 525 and will consolidate our position in the fast growing affordable smartphone segment further," the release quoted managing director P. Balaji of Nokia India, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles Oy as saying.

Lumia-630 will also be available in a single SIM variant and will be priced at Rs 10,500. This device will be on shelf starting last week of May.

For its Indian customers, Microsoft has rolled out a special package wherein new smartphone will come pre-loaded with premium video application Box TV offering hollywood and bollywood content free of cost for two months, free eBooks worth Rs 2,000 on Flipkart, six free games by Gamesloft for gaming enthusiasts and the NexGTv application for cricket fans, allowing streaming of all IPL for free.

Alongside, Coloud Pop headgear at a 50 percent discount has been made available for music lovers. Apart this, all Vodafone subscribers can also enjoy 1-GB of 3-G data per month for a period of two months.

Along with the smartphone, Microsoft also launched an accessory, the Treasure Tag, which uses sensors to keep track of valuables like keys, wallet or bags. Matchbox sized Treasure tag will alert users when they are separated from their precious items, said Microsoft. Additionally, Lumia-630 users will also be able to pair it with the new, colorful bluetooth mini speaker.

This pocket sized powerhouse connects wirelessly using the new easy to use Device Hub app and plays for 15 hours, transforming almost any surface into big-sounding bass. It's the perfect accessory to help people get the most from MixRadio streaming, videos and games, and also functions as a convenient speaker phone on the go, said Microsoft.

However, Treasure Tag will be available only in select stores across India from May 31 at Rs 2,099, while the mini speaker will be available in the last week of June at Rs 5,499.
