Mindtree's Natarajan is Nasscom chairman

R Chandrasekaran has been appointed Nasscom vice-chairman

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has appointed Krishnakumar Natarajan, MD and CEO of Mindtree, as the IT industry body's chairman for 2013-14.

R Chandrasekaran, group chief executive, technology & operations at Cognizant, has been appointed Nasscom vice-chairman.

"I look forward to leading Nasscom in its next journey of taking the industry to achieve the vision and aspiration of $300 billion revenues by 2020. Having chaired the emerging and SME initiative of Nasscom in the past few years, I firmly believe that emerging companies and start-ups are key growth engines for the future of this industry," said Natarajan.
 

Natarajan takes over from N Chandrasekaran, Chief Executive Officer & MD of Tata Consultancy Services.
