MRO-TEK rolls out millionth product

Networking products manufacturing firm MRO-TEK Ltd has reached a milestone by rolling out its one millionth product "" Daisy "" an ethernet switch for accessing high speed internet connection. The firm has a factory at Electronics City.

"The journey for the first million has been long. Going forward, we would like to achieve the next million in a shorter span of time. Our main focus will be on R&D and manufacturing on access networking," MRO-TEK CMD S Narayanan said.

Over the years the firm has been developing products for mobile carriers, Railways and banks.

"We are positioning MRO-TEK to develop and cater to the wireless technology in the field of telecommunication. We will focus more on enhanced broadband management, application-specific products, solutions and customer penetration," he added.

MRO-TEK employs over 200 professionals. The firm intends to increase its headcount by 10 per cent this year.
