Nalco's Q2 net erodes 64% at Rs 159 cr

The state-run aluminium major National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has posted 64 per cent erosion in net profit at 159.49 crore in the second quarter ending September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 444.46 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Net sales of the company plunged 25.6 per cent to Rs 1,143.06 crore from Rs 1,536.42 crore during the period under consideration.
