Pearson Education Services launches e-commerce portal for Indian students

The portal offer preparatory material for competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, civil services examination, MBA and banking competitive examinations

Pearson Education Services, a provider of education solutions in the K-12 segment has launched a comprehensive online e-commerce destination, Edurite.com to cater to the needs of Indian students. The portal will offer learning resources based on the CBSE, ICSE and state board syllabus in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Gujarat.

Pearson Education Services (erstwhile Tutor Vista) is a part of Pearson, a global education, media and publishing group which holds about 80 per cent in the company.

Edurite’s flagship product ScoreMore CDs/DVDs contains multi-media and animations in the interactive format. Other learning resources include online tutoring, assessment and clarifications from qualified teachers.

 

The company also said that the portal will offer preparatory material for competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, civil services examination, MBA and banking competitive examinations.
