Print services provider opens BPO centre

R R Donnelley & Sons Company, a leading vendor of print and related services including BPO offerings, has opened a new global outsourcing facility at Mylapore in Chennai set over a 55,000-square feet area.

With this facility, RR Donnelley expects to add a number of professionals to its global workforce.

Kiran Shankar, managing director, Global Outsourcing - Asia Operations, said that fresh client acquisitions had necessitated the opening of a new centre. In September, the company acquired 41,000 sq ft of space at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram for its second facility in that city.

The 140-year-old RR Donnelly employs approximately 65,000 people worldwide.

The company's outsourcing offerings include professional support services.

It also offers industry-focused solutions in areas like legal, financial management, pre-media, transaction processing and real estate services.

Its clients include Fortune 1000 companies, professional service organizations and financial services firms across Europe and the United States.
