Rexam HTW sets up new beverage can line in Maharashtra plant
Has made a capital investment of approximately Rs 250 crore in the new high-speed production line

Rexam HTW, a joint venture between UK-based consumer packaging player Rexam PLC and Hindustan Tin Works, has inaugurated a new aluminium line at its manufacturing plant at Taloja in Maharashtra.
Rexam HTW, the first beverage can maker to enter the Indian market way back in 2007, has made a capital investment of approximately Rs 250 crore in the new high-speed production line. The new line will have the capacity to churn out 950 million cans a year.
“This investment is fully in line with our strategy to grow in faster moving markets. It will support and enable us to take advantage of the exciting opportunities the Indian market has for beverage can packaging,” said Graham Chipchase, chief executive officer of Rexam PLC.
