Siemens bags order worth Rs 79 cr

Power equipment manufacturer Siemens today said it has received an order worth Rs 79 crore from Qatari German Switchgear for supplying 11kv air insulated switchgear.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Siemens said it has bagged an order from the company's technology partner Qatari German Switchgear.

The orders would be supplied to Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) distribution network and the order would be completed over a period of two years.

Shares of Siemens settled at Rs 336.70, up 9.21 per cent on the BSE.
