Simplex Infra Q2 net declines marginally to Rs 26 cr

Simplex Infra, a civil construction and engineering contracts company, today reported a decline of about three per cent in net profit at Rs 26.87 crore for the July-September quarter this fiscal.

It had clocked a net profit of Rs 27.92 crore during the same quarter last year.

The net sales of the company were Rs 1,051.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared to Rs 1,025.2 crore it had reported during the same quarter of 2009-10, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The order book of the company as of September 2010 was Rs 12,964 crore, a growth of over 23 per cent over the previous year, the filing added.

 

During the second quarter, the order inflow was Rs 2,229 crore.

Scrips of the company closed today at Rs 460.65 a piece on the Bombay Stock Exchange, down 0.99 per cent from the previous close.
