SRB numero uno audit firm in state, says survey

City-based SRB & Associates has been ranked among the top 50 top leading audit firms in the country.

The audit firm is ranked 43rd in the country in 2011 according to research report on "Who Are India's Top Auditors" published by Chennai based Prime Academy.

The firm, which also provides consulting services, is placed at the fifth position among the auditors of the eastern zone. The others which are ranked above SRB & Associates in the zone are Price Waterhouse, Lovelock & Lewes, SR Batliboi & Associates and Ray & Ray.SRB & Associates charged Rs 30 lakh, Rs two lakh and Rs 17.33 lakh for auditing as the highest audit fee, lowest audit fee and average audit fee respectively from its clients.
 

Fee as a percentage of turnover (FATO) is calculated at 0.008 per cent and the median fee is pegged at Rs 20 lakh.

SRB which started its operations in Bhubaneswar in 2000 has branched out to six metro cities across the country.

Over the past decade, the firm successfully completed over 500 major projects in a wide array of sectors.
