SSWL begins wheel rims' supply from Jamshepur unit to Tata Motors

Chandigarh-based Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has started the regular production and supply of steel wheel rims to Tata Motors Ltd from its newly established manufacturing facility at Jamshedpur with effect from December 14, 2010. The Jamshedpur unit is having a production capacity of one million tube type and tubeless wheels per annum. Tata Motors Ltd have already validated and approved the heavy commercial wheel rims of SSWL’s Jamshepur unit. It is worth noting that the Jamshedpur unit of the company was inaugurated in July, 2010.
