Sun TV Network has reported a 8.7% drop in net profit at Rs 154.4 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 169.1 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
Total Income from operations has increased by 9.14% from Rs 466.4 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs 509 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
Advertisement Revenue for the quarter ended 30th September 2014, rose by 11.43% to Rs 260.26 crore, while DTH revenue was up by 20% to Rs 130.07 crore.
The company stated that for the half year ended September 30, 2014 it's IPL franchise "Sun Risers Hyderabad" clocked Rs 113.82 crore and costs of Rs 157.60 crore.
