Suzuki's 'Hayabusa' on show in Saurashtra

BS Reporter Mumbai/ Rajkot
Suzuki Motors India has imported 11 Hayabusa bikes into India, and one of them has found its way into the Saurashtra-Kutch region.

While speaking to Business Standard, Mehul Lakhani, Managing Director of Radhika Motors, which has hosted the bike said, "The Saurashtra-Kutch region has tremendous potential as far as the affordability of high-end machines and niche models of both two-wheelers and four-wheelers are concerned. That is why we are demonstrating the bike here."

The demand for Hayabusa has especially soared after John Abraham's movie, 'Dhoom', he added.

On the very first day of the demonstration of Hayabusa, reportedly 20 enquiries were received but the bike is only for demonstration and not for sale. Had it been for sale, it would have been priced at around Rs 12.5 lakh, said Lakhani.
