USV in marketing pact with German firm

Mumbai-based pharma major, USV Limited, has forged a five-year alliance with German derma-cosmeceutical products company Sebapharma GmbH and Co to exclusively market and distribute the latter's Sebamed range of skincare products in India.

The Sebamed range of 18 products, to be sold on recommendation of physicians, include products for cleansing and care, acne and acne-prone skin, anti-ageing and baby products.

According to Prashant Tewari, managing director of the Rs 670-crore USV Limited, Sebamed will be targeted at the premium segment in the skincare category.
