Warburg Pincus India head joins Moser Baer board

Moser Baer, a manufacturer of optical storage media has appointed Frank  E Dangeard and Viraj Sawhney as directors on the board. Frank Dangeard was chairman and CEO of Thomson, a provider of digital video technologies from 2004 to early 2008. Earlier, he was senior executive vice president of France Telecom.

Viraj Sawhney is a principal at Warburg Pincus India. He was earlier a consultant with McKinsey and Co. Moser Baer's board of directors, now has 12 members- Deepak Puri, John Levack, Rajesh Khanna, Prakash Karnik, Bernard Gallus, Arun Bharat Ram, Virander Nath Koura, Vinayshil Gautam, Ratul Puri, Nita Puri, Frank Dangeard and Viraj Sawhney.
