Zuari Industries net up 29% at Rs 65 cr

Fertiliser company Zuari Industries today said its net profit rose by 29.41 per cent to Rs 65.20 crore for the quarter ended September 30, over the same period last year.

Net sales declined to Rs 825.51 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 2,100.46 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The decrease in the net sales is mostly on account of decrease in subsidy caused by lower input commodity prices, the filing added.
