Zydus Wellness Q1 net up 59% at Rs 13.49 cr

Consumer products firm Zydus Wellness today reported a 59.64% increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 13.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 8.45 crore for the same quarter of last fiscal, Zydus Wellness said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income of the company stood at Rs 94.56 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 90.96 crore for the same period a year ago.
The company's product range comprises of products like Sugar Free Gold, Sugar Free Natura and Nutralite. It also caters to the skincare segment with its Everyuth and Dermacare brands.
Shares of Zydus Wellness today closed at Rs 429.65 per scrip on BSE, down 0.88% from its previous close.
