Bengaluru police, RBI and banks join hands to check bank frauds

It will become difficult for cybercriminals to dupe gullible victims in Bengaluru.  

The Bengaluru Police, with the help of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and banks, have made it easy for victims of cyber crime to lodge a formal complaint without needing to come to a police station to file a First Information Report (FIR).  

A complaint lodged with the police will immediately be alerted to banks and payment gateways who can stop the transaction mid-way.
