Central Bureau of Investigation registered two more cases in the coal block allocation scam against the owner of Central Collieries Co Ltd , Nagpur ; and second case against promoter director of Prakash Industries, Delhi.
The agency has named unknown public servants also as accused in the FIR. Searches are being conducted at 3 places in Nagpur and one in Mumbai in the Colliaries case . In the case of Prakash industries - searches at 3 places in delhi ,one each in jangir and bilaspur in chhatisgarh are going on.CBI has alleged that Central Collieries committed forgery, criminal breach of trust and selling of coal in the open market against the concept of captive allocation of coal blocks for a specified end use product.
The agency in its FIR has accused Prakash Industries of misrepresenting its net worth while applying for coal block.The agency has registered 18 FIRs in the coal block allocation scam till now. The Supreme Court will hear the matter of status report of CBI in its coal investigations tomorrow.
