Delhi fog affects flights and trains

Delhi, on Sunday, woke up to a cold morning as the minimum temperature settled at 6.4 degrees celsius with dense fog, affecting around 100 flights and 60 trains. The minimum temperature was one notch below normal, while humidity was recorded at 97 per cent at 8:30 am. On Saturday, the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees celsius.
Around 100 flights, including international ones, were affected due to dense fog and low visibility which was below 50 meters. One flight was cancelled, while three international flights were diverted to other airports. Sixty north-bound trains, including Rajdhani trains coming from Ranchi, Bhubneswar, Howrah, Sealdah and Dibrugarh were running late by several hours due to dense fog.
