2-day meet to discuss problems CAs face

Controversial issues under the Income Tax Act and new avenues for chartered accountant professionals will be discussed at a two-day conference beginning Saturday.
 
The meet, titled 'Professional Enrichment & Excellence Challenges of Change', will be inaugurated by Company Law Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta.
 
The sessions would be addressed by central council members Sunil Talati, Santhana Krishnan and former Central Council Member Vinod Jain, said an official of the Ludhiana branch of Northern India Regional Council of ICAI here today.
 
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India President Kamlesh Vikamsey will lay the foundation stone of the new ICAI building being constructed in Ludhiana on January 8.
