Advani off the block from Gandhinagar

With the Lok Sabha elections round the corner, the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate today started his poll campaign from his constituency Gandhinagar, a seat he won four times.

“You have assessed it right. I am kickstarting my election campaign from today from my Gandhinagar constituency,” Advani said.

Advani is scheduled to attend six functions in the constituency, which includes a portion of Ahmedabad. He is also going to address a public rally in Gandhinagar later in the day.

“Now, I will be coming here again and again,” Advani told reporters on the sidelines of a function to inaugurate a gymnasium complex build by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in the Vadaj area of the city.

 

The senior BJP leader is scheduled to meet party functionaries in his constituency later in the day to finalise the poll strategy for the seat in the light of delimitation.
