BJP to seal Rajnath's appointment on Jan 20

The BJP national council will meet in Delhi on January 20 to ratify Rajnath Singh's appointment as party president.

"A special session of the council has been called for this. He will announce his future plans and the strategy of the party at the one-day session," BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

All the members of the national council and the national executive, and party MPs, office-bearers of the state units and the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states had been invited.
