Building tech expo in B'lore from Nov 14

To showcase the engineering skills in India and to position the country as the global supplier and global hub for construction equipment CII has organised an international exhibition-cum-conference "" 'Excon 2007' from November 14 at Bangalore.

Meanwhile, CII has organised a 'Road Show' in Mumbai on Friday to provide details on the expo. 'Excon 2007' will have the theme 'Construction Equipment & Technology'.

A five-day expo will be held from November 14, at the International Exhibition Centre in Bangalore. The Indian Earthmoving and Construction Industry Association Ltd is the co-sponsor of the event.

Excon 2007 will showcase a variety of equipment, technology and products for Indian customers with specific emphasis on efficiency, productivity and safety.

Besides, it will also showcase engineering skills of India and to position the country as the global supplier and global hub for construction equipment, components and related design.

Group CEOs¿ panel discussions, live equipment demos will be the features of the expo. Excon 2007 will offer the best opportunity to understand, evaluate and source the latest construction equipment and technology available for the Indian market.

With the intention to create awareness amongst the end-users and to provide information on the event, CII is organising road shows across the country.
