Chiranjeevi leading in Tirupati

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi gained a first round lead of 600 votes in Tirupati Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh even as he was trailing in Palakole segment as per initial trends available.  

Chiranjeevi, who ruled the Telugu film industry for more than 25 years, is fighting his maiden electoral battle from these two Assembly segments in the state.  

State ministers G Chinna reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Shabbir Ali, Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy were also trailing in their respective constituencies as per initial trends.
