CII proposes joint task force for monitoring schemes

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has proposed a joint task force, comprising members of industries and Parliament, to monitor the implementation of various schemes and policies.

The members of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh and CII were in talks on yesterday at New Delhi.

"The objective of the interaction was to discuss and deliberate on the economy and highlight the issues and problems concerning industry in the state and work out strategies to remove bottlenecks," a CII statement said.

The CII was asked to prepare a detailed action plan for the underdeveloped areas.
