CM assures sops to SIMA textile park

| Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday held a meeting with industry officials and entrepreneurs of SIMA Textile Park Company for establishing a SIMA textile park in 400 acres in Menakuru village in Nellore district. |
| Assuring all facilities including adequate power supply and other incentives as per the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Policy, he told the entrepreneurs that the land was ready to be registered in their names. |
| "There would be a dedicated 220-Kv feeder, which would supply uninterrupted power to the textile park. Besides, 55 Mw of power and enough groundwater for construction activities would be made available immediately. Sustainable water supply would be made available to the park from surface source by March 2008 from the Telugu Ganga canal, which is 17 km from the project site," the chief minister stated in a press release on Tuesday. |
| The entrepreneurs assured the chief minister that work on the textile park would start immediately. |
