Consultancy to facilitate permanent residence in US

Kenn Morris America, a US-based immigration consultancy, on Thursday announced its services to facilitate permanent resident status for Indian emigrants to the US through the EB-5 visa.

Under this, the applicant needs to make an investment of $500,000 (around Rs 2.25 crore) in business projects approved by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to be able to apply for permanent resident status.

The project could be new or existing but needs to create at least 10 jobs for US nationals for the residency to be granted. According to Jasdeep Singh, Kenn Morris representative, 62 Indians had obtained EB-5 visas in 2010.

 

The consultancy would charge $2,500 per investor for application processes, and another $5,000 after approval of EB-5 visa.
