Govt effects changes in top bureaucracy

With an aim to push forward industrial activity in the state, the government has effected some changes in senior bureaucratic level.

According to the new order, energy secretary P K Jena has been given the charge of Chairman-Cum-Managing Director (CMD) of power trading company Gridco Ltd.

D K Singh, who was Gridco CMD, has been appointed as Secretary of MSME Department and chairman of Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC). MSME Secretary N K Sundaray will now work as Commissioner of Land Reforms. Vishal Dev, who is currently the vice-chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has been given the charge of managing director of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco), the land acquisition agency of the state government.

 

Parag Gupta, currently working as secretary of Industries, has been given the additional charge of (Industrial Development Corporation Odisha Ltd (IDCOL) as its chairman. T Ramachanrdu, the top boss at IDCOL, has been shifted as Secretary in Planning and Coordination department of the state government.
