Union Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today said that the government is not in favour of interfering in steel prices because the sector is de-controlled.

The government has asked steel companies to take up this issue with their respective dealers. On May 7 steel producers had agreed to a three-month commitment for holding steel prices which will end this month. </P></p></table>
