Haryana CM hails Union Budget

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has hailed the first Budget of the new UPA government Presented by Union Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee for the financial year 2009-10 in the Parliament today and described it as a growth oriented and "Aam Admi ka Budget" which would benefit all sections of the society.
In a statement issued here today, Hooda said that the Union Finance Minister has taken care of all sections of the society. While the results of last Lok Sabha elections were in favour of inclusive growth, the Budget was in consonance with the mandate of the people and policies of the Congress, he added.
While appreciating 70 per cent more allocation for agriculture in the Union Budget, the Chief Minister said that the proposal to give 1 per cent sudsidy to those farmers who repay their loans in time was already being implemented by Haryana government by giving such a rebate at a rate of 2 per cent in cooperative sector.
He also appreciated the proposal of extension of loan scheme by six months for farmers.
