Idea Rental Lowest In Ap

Idea Cellular introduced a lowest monthly rental post-paid package among all the cellular operators by offering the plan at Rs 269 rental per month, which is 23 per cent less than the earlier plan.

The company has also lowered the airtime charges to Rs 1.99 per minute for post-paid subscribers and Rs 2.49 for pre-paid subscribers irrespective of the network to which the call is made.

To add more, the night time call rates (between 10 pm and 8 am) have been slashed to Rs 0.99 per minute for both the categories of subscribers.

With the new introduction, Idea has withdrawn all other existing packages except for a Rs 599 monthly rental package, which will charge Rs 0.50 for cell-to-cell outgoing calls.

 

Interestingly, other two cellular operators, Airtel and Hutch charge a minimum rental of Rs 349 per month from their post-paid customers, while outgoing call charges vary from Rs 0.40 to Rs 1.99 depending on the monthly rental.

For the pre-paid subscribers, it increased talk time on the Rs 300 recharge coupon to Rs 175 from the earlier Rs 150. The STD charges for pre-paid customers is Rs 3.99 per minute while cell-to-cell STD will be charged at Rs 2.99. On post-paid, STD calls will be charged at Rs 1.99 per minute. SMS will be charged at 99 paise (Rs 1.50).
