IT ministry constitutes task force to stimulate growth

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has constituted a task force to suggest measures to stimulate the growth of IT, ITES and electronics hardware manufacturing industry in the country. 

The task force will be chaired by Ajai Chowdhry , Chairman and CEO, HCL Infosystems while Kiran Karnik would be the co-chairman. Nasscom president Som Mittal is a member of the force. The task force may co-opt other members and create sub-groups, as seem necessary.

Besides making strategies to augment the growth of the IT software and ITeS, the task force will also work towards accelerating domestic demand for these products and services
