JD(S) 'may consider' supporting UPA

JD(S), having three members in the new Lok Sabha, today said it "may consider" supporting the Congress-led UPA at the Centre.
"We may consider supporting the UPA," JD(S) Secretary General and spokesman Danish Ali told PTI.
The party, which had three members in the outgoing Lok Sabha, had opposed the UPA during the trust vote in July last year after the Left parties withdrew support on the nuclear deal issue.
Ali said the party leaders were concerned over the growth of BJP in Karnataka and were holding discussions on how to stop communal forces.
