NAC moots farmer groups to facilitate mkt access

A National Advisory Council working group sought aggregating small and marginal farmers into producer organisations to link them to markets and enable access to finance. It sought the allocation of Rs 3,200 crore in the 12th Five-Year Plan to support 10 million farmer producer organisations.
