OSPCB issues notice to RSP

Orissa State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) on Wdnesday issued a show cause notice to Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India (SAIL), for spreading air and water pollution.

“We have sent a show cause notice to RSP for exceeding air and water quality norms and asked them to reply within fifteen days”, said Debi Prasad Mishra, state environment and forest minister.
