Parliament to meet on October 17

The dates of what could be the last working session of the 14th Lok Sabha were announced today. A combined monsoon and winter session will be called between October17 and November 21. The dates were finalised by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.

The monsoon session, scheduled for August, was postponed after a two-day special session in July to consider a trust motion moved by the government.
