SRK's video on Bengal wins award in Japan

Starring Shahrukh Khan, West Bengal's brand ambassador, a two-minute promotional video film on the state, has won an award at a Japanese film festival's travelogue section.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Facebook on Monday that the first film on "Brand Bengal" made by the state government has won the coveted 2nd Festival Asia TV and Film on 'Journey' organised by the government of Japan. Directed by Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the promotional film captures the present day progressive Bengal with its culture, heritage, scenic beauty and various development initiatives.
"This is very encouraging news for us as the jury liked our film," Chowdhury told PTI.
