Three-day Naval feat from today

The three-day Naval feat "� President's Fleet Review-2006 (PFR) "� will begin here from tomorrow. Fifty five war flights, three submarines and 53 warships including INS Virat "� the only aircraft carrier of the Indian Navy "� are participating in the event.

Apart from President APJ Abdul Kalam, 13 Union ministers, five chief ministers and governors, and several other VVIPs will attend the programme.

The two main events "� 'Review of the Naval Fleet by President Kalam and 'Operational Demonstration'"� will be held at the Ramakrishan Beach on February 12. The Eastern Naval Command has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the fleet review.

Kalam and state chief minister Y S Rajesekhara Reddy are visiting Visakhapatnam tomorrow. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Arun Prakash arrived here today.
